This is a hill temple near Narasaraopet. Itโs a famous religious spot with a beautiful view from the top. There are three peaks around, and thatโs why itโs called Trikoota Hills.
Nagarjuna Sagar Right Canal Viewpoint โ Pulichintala Area
This is a calm spot where you can see the right canal of Nagarjuna Sagar. The water flows smoothly and the area around is peaceful. Good for short stops and photo moments.

You reach the town by bus or train. Get down, walk a bit, and see a small chai shop near the station. You grab a hot cup of tea and take a sip. The town is slowly waking up. The air feels cool and fresh. You feel ready to start your journey.
8:00 AM โ Ethipothala Falls (โ35 km, ~1 hr by cab)
Drive through green fields and reach this big 70-foot waterfall. Youโll hear the loud sound as water falls over the rocks. Thereโs a cool walkway with trees that takes you to the main view spot. Entry fee is just โน20. Donโt forget your cameraโsometimes you can see rainbows in the mist!
9:45 AM โ Climb up Bodlakallu Hill (โ25 km, ~45 min by cab)
Youโll reach a big granite hill standing tall over golden farmland. Take the short, rocky path to the top where a huge boulder is. Enjoy the fresh breeze, have a homemade snack, and take in the 360ยฐ views of the fields below.
11:30 AM โ Explore Gurajala Fort (โ15 km, ~30 min by cab)
Check out the old stone walls of this 12th-century fort. Imagine what it was like with guards on watch while you walk around. Thereโs no entry fee. You can chat with local guides whoโll tell you stories about kings, battles, and hidden passages.
1:00 PM โ Head back for Home-Style Lunch (โ15 km, ~30 min by cab)
Head back toward Narasaraopet. Within 5 km of the bus stand, youโll find small messes and hotels serving thali meals (rice, dal, sambar, veggie curry). A meal costs about โน100โ120. If you can, donโt forget to try a sweet laddu if they have it!
2:15 PM โ Visit Sitanagaram Hanuman Temple (โ20 km, ~40 min by cab)
Drive into the village and enter a vibrant shrine courtyard. Ring the bells, offer flowers, and watch people praying. Relax under the shady trees and take a look at the old stone carving of Lord Hanuman.
4:00 PM โ Walk along Chilumula Reservoir (โ30 km, ~1 hr by cab)
Head to the quiet reservoir surrounded by small hills. Take a walk along the embankment, watch fishing boats move on the calm water, and breathe in the peaceful atmosphere.
5:30 PM โ Grab Evening Tea & Pakoras
Near the reservoir gate, youโll find a small tea stall. Enjoy a cup of milky chai and some crispy pakoras. Chat with the locals about village life as the sky starts to light up.
