My Visit to Antarvedi Temple โ A Peaceful and Beautiful Day
I had always heard about Antarvedi and the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. One day, I finally decided to go and see it for myself. I didnโt expect much, but the visit turned out to be very special.
To reach the temple, I had to cross the Godavari River on a small boat. The ride was quiet and peaceful. I could feel the cool breeze and hear the sound of water splashing gently. As I looked ahead, I saw something amazing the river meeting the sea. It felt calm and powerful at the same time.
The boatman told me this place is very holy, where the river and the ocean become one. I just stood there for a moment, taking it all in.
When I reached the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, it looked simple but beautiful. The tall tower at the entrance had lovely carvings. I walked inside slowly, and everything felt peaceful. No loud noise, no rush just people quietly praying.
Inside the temple, I saw the idol of Lord Narasimha. He looked strong and kind at the same time. The priest gave me tulasi leaves and some sweet prasadam. I felt happy. It felt like a blessing.
After darshan, I walked to the place where the Godavari River joins the Bay of Bengal. This spot is called the Sangamam. People were praying, offering coconuts, and taking dips in the water.
I sat there for a while with my feet in the water. It was cold but nice. I didnโt say any prayer I just sat and watched the water. I felt peaceful, like my mind had become quiet.
On my way back, I stopped near a small food stall. A kind old lady was making hot vadas. She gave me a plate with chutney and said, โEat slowly, youโve had darshan.โ The vadas were crispy and delicious. It was a simple meal, but it felt perfect.
Before I left, I saw the sunset over the river. The sky turned orange and purple. I didnโt want to leave. It felt like the whole place was saying goodbye in a gentle way.
This wasnโt just a temple visit for me. It was a full experience nature, devotion, and quietness all together. I went there just to see a place, but I came back with peace in my heart.
If you ever feel tired or stressed, visit Antarvedi. Just sit by the river, visit the temple, and let the place calm your mind. Sometimes, the simplest places give the deepest peace.
