Things to Know Before Visiting Maredumilli…
Rampa Waterfalls in Maredumilli offers a breathtaking view and is highly recommended to visit in December, as the weather is cool and the water flow is good during this time. This is a perfect tourist spot, and most visitors make sure to visit it.
Most people see it as a perfect spot for taking photos, and many film shootings take place, especially around the waterfalls and forest areas. It’s also a great place to enjoy sunrise views, especially from hilltop spots.
Most non-vegetarian visitors are fond of bamboo chicken, a famous dish in the Maredumilli forest area. It is made by putting marinated chicken inside a bamboo stick and cooking it on fire. This gives the chicken a tasty smoky flavor.
There are many temples near Maredumilli worth visiting, such as the Rampa Sivalayam Temple in Rampa Chodavaram and the Sri Balanagamma Ammavari Temple. However, these places need better development in terms of infrastructure and visitor facilities.
These are dense forest areas, so make sure to carry all necessary items for protection, especially if you plan to stay near a campfire. While the waterfalls are best visited during the monsoon or in the cool months of November and December, it’s important to be careful and enjoy nature responsibly.
A Peaceful Day at Rampa Waterfalls, Maredumilli
Last week, I visited Rampa Waterfalls near Maredumilli, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing days I’ve had in a long time. If you love nature, fresh air, and peaceful sounds, this is the perfect place to visit.
The ride to Rampa Waterfalls was beautiful. The road passed through thick green forests, tall trees on both sides, and small streams flowing here and there. I could hear birds chirping and feel the cool breeze through the window.
There were many turns on the road, but it wasn’t scary. It felt like an adventure. I stopped once to take some photos of the trees and the sunlight peeking through the leaves. It was very quiet and calm.
After parking the vehicle, there was a small walk to reach the waterfall. The path had steps made of stone, and I could hear the sound of water even before I saw it. That sound made me feel excited.
As I walked closer, the air became cooler and fresher. I could feel water drops in the air. It was like the forest was breathing.
And then I saw it, Rampa Waterfalls. Water was falling from a tall rock, splashing on the stones below, and flowing like a silver ribbon through the forest. It was so clean and natural.
Some people were standing under the waterfall and enjoying the water. I went close and dipped my feet. The water was ice-cold, but it felt amazing! It washed away all tiredness.
I just sat on a rock nearby, listening to the water and feeling peaceful. For a while, I forgot all my worries.
There was also a small temple nearby, and some people were offering prayers. I joined for a few minutes. After that, I had a simple lunch from a food stall – hot rice, dal, and bamboo chicken. The taste was fresh and homely.
The people there were kind and welcoming. They told me about other places in Maredumilli I should see next time.
As the sun started going down, the forest looked even more beautiful. I didn’t want to leave, but I knew I would come back someday.
If you want to take a break from busy life and enjoy nature, Rampa Waterfalls in Maredumilli is the place to go. It’s simple, beautiful, and leaves you with a calm heart.
