Bikkavolu is a small and peaceful village in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. It is famous for the old and powerful Sri Lakshmi Ganapati Temple. Since Bikkavolu is a village, there are no big hotels or sathrams (pilgrim rest houses) available near the temple. Most people who come here for darshan stay in nearby towns like Rajahmundry (around 34 km away) or Kakinada (around 30 km away). These towns have many good hotels that offer better facilities like clean rooms, AC, food, and parking.

If you are coming only for a short visit, you don’t need to book a room. You can come in the morning, have darshan, and go back to your hotel or home the same day. There are a few small tiffin shops and food stalls near the temple, where you can get simple and tasty food like idli, dosa, and tea. So, even without staying overnight, you can comfortably spend a few hours here.

Many people also visit other temples nearby along with Bikkavolu.
