Every devotee has to follow the protocols of the temple.
Everyday around 50,000 devotees visit this temple on an average. Sometimes, the number can even cross 1 lakh. So, everyone should cooperate with the staff regarding scrutiny and security.
Panche for men and Saree for women are compulsory. This should not be taken as imposing rules on people but one should treat it as a cultural significance.

My Special Visit to Tirumala Balaji Temple
I had always dreamed of visiting Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple in Tirumala, near Tirupati. Many people told me how holy and powerful this place is. Finally, one weekend, I got the chance to go. It was a trip I will never forget.
Tirumala is on a hill. The road that goes up is full of turns and trees. The air felt fresh and cool. I saw monkeys jumping around, and I could hear birds singing. Even before reaching the temple, I felt calm and happy inside.
When I reached the temple area, I saw many pilgrims. Some were standing in line, some were sitting and praying. Everyone looked peaceful. The temple looked grand, with its golden tower shining in the sun. I stood there for a moment, just looking at it.
The place was clean and well-organized. People were chanting “Govinda! Govinda!” with love and faith. It made me feel like I was in a very special place.
After waiting for some time, it was finally my turn to see Lord Venkateswara. I walked into the main hall, my heart beating fast. Even though the darshan was only for a few seconds, it felt magical. The idol looked powerful and full of peace.
I folded my hands and offered a quiet prayer. I didnโt ask for anythingโjust expressed my gratitude. It was a simple moment, yet deeply personal and special.
After darshan, I received the famous Tirupati laddu. It was warm, soft, and sweet. I also ate some simple temple food nearby – rice, dal, and chutney. It was one of the best meals I ever had because it felt pure and made with love.
In the evening, I sat near the temple and watched the sky change colors. The lights came on, and the temple looked even more beautiful. I didnโt want to leave.
Tirumala is not just a temple. Itโs a place where your mind becomes quiet, and your heart feels light. Even though there were many people, I felt peace. I left the temple with a smile and a calm heart.
