A Memorable Visit to Kailasagiri
I visited Kailasagiri in Visakhapatnam last year with my cousins during the summer holidays. It was a very nice and peaceful place. I had heard about it many times, but this was my first time going there. We were all very excited.
We started in the morning so that we could enjoy the cool weather. When we reached the bottom of the hill, we saw a lot of trees and greenery. The place looked very calm and fresh. Instead of going by car or walking up, we took the ropeway. It was my first time in a cable car, and I felt a little scared at the beginning, but after some time I started enjoying it. The view from the ropeway was amazing! We could see the sea, the beach, and the city from above. It was like looking at a big painting.
When we reached the top of Kailasagiri, the first thing I saw was the huge statues of Lord Shiva and Parvati. They were really big and white in color. Many people were standing around taking photos. I also clicked a few pictures with my cousins. Even though I am not very religious, I felt peaceful near the statues. The place had a calm and positive feeling.
We walked around the park. There are many trees and small gardens. There are benches where people can sit and relax. From the top, we could see the Bay of Bengal and RK Beach. The wind was blowing softly, and it felt very good. We sat there for some time just enjoying the fresh air.
We also saw a toy train that goes around the hill. We bought tickets and sat in the train. It was slow, but we had fun. It goes all around the park, so we got to see different views. We were laughing, talking, and enjoying the ride. After the train ride, we felt a little hungry, so we bought some snacks. I had sweet corn, a cold drink, and later an ice cream. There are small shops and food stalls near the park, and the people there were friendly.
Before we left, we went to a small gift shop and bought some small gifts. I got a keychain and a fridge magnet with โKailasagiriโ written on them. They remind me of the trip even now.
I really liked Kailasagiri. It is clean, green, and peaceful. Itโs a great place to go with family or friends. I wish we had stayed longer to see the sunset, but we had to leave early. If I ever go to Visakhapatnam again, I will surely visit Kailasagiri once more.
